“Since we began distributing vaccines to communities in our state, we have made a concerted effort to do so in a fair manner, save as many lives as possible, and end the immediate public health crisis as quickly as possible. Said Governor Jared Polis. . “With each vaccine administered, we take one more step towards returning to life as we knew it. I want to thank the community organizations in our state for their partnership to ensure that everyone who wants a vaccine can get one. ”

“Our goal is to remove barriers to accessing the COVID-19 vaccine,” says Nic Vargas (they / them), Inside Out’s vaccine awareness coordinator. “While Inside Out wants to make sure that all LGBTQIA2 people who want to get the vaccine can get it, we also want to welcome the rest of the community. Hillside Community Center is a warm neighborhood place that will help clinic participants feel at ease, while Inside Out helps them feel assertive.

The clinic is scheduled for October 29 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hillside Community Center, 925 S. Institute St.
