Lynn Robinson Joins Northern Oklahoma Youth Services as Parent Educator

Northern Oklahoma Youth Services welcomes Lynn Robinson as a parent educator with the Family Resource Program. In this role, Robinson will support caregivers of children aged zero to five by answering questions about child development, providing developmental screenings and working through parental struggles to raise healthy children. healthy and successful.

Robinson has lived in Ponca City with her husband, son, and daughter since 2011. She was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a medical doctor and previously worked in NOYS teaching classes such as First Time Offenders, Strengthening Families, and Life Skills. “I am thrilled to be a parent educator and wish I could have had a program like this when my children were younger.” This free service occurs through affiliation with Parents as Teachers, a model that builds strong communities, thriving families, and healthy, safe, and ready-to-learn children.

Lynn is currently attending Northwestern Oklahoma University and plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology in the next year.
