Martha Mary Guild Recognized for Donations to Collier Youth Services

Members of the Martha Mary Guild attend a summer social June 9, where the group was recognized for their annual contributions to Collier Youth Services.

A summer social was held on June 9 to raise funds for Collier Youth Services and to give special thanks to three of their loyal donors: the Shore Building Association of Central New Jersey and Professional Women in Building of the Garden State, the Women’s Club of Colts Neck and the Martha Mary Guild of St. Mary Church.

The mission of Collier Youth Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity, and hope. More than 175 campers from low-income families are bused to the beautiful grounds of Collier, where they enjoy many activities together, while learning to care and respect others.

The Martha Mary Guild donates a portion of the proceeds from the annual clothing and linens sale to help worthy causes like Collier’s Kateri Day Camp. This year, the clothing/linen sale will be held from Thursday September 8th to Saturday September 10th.

Each spring, the guild collects a host of items for Kateri, including swimsuits, beach towels, pool toys, sandals and books for children ages 5 to 13.
