The Community Youth Center of San Francisco will host its 52nd annual gala on Friday.

The event, which is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., will take place at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco and will be themed “Growing Stronger, Growing Together.”

KPIX-TV reporter Betty Yu will host the event, which will include an awards ceremony to recognize youth, partners and community members for their achievements over the past year.

Assemblyman Phil Ting is due to attend the event as a special guest and will deliver a speech, and Chinese dance company Flying Angels will share two performances featuring a traditional palace dance and a fusion of palace dance. fan and ribbon.


The Community Youth Center of San Francisco serves more than 8,000 young people each year, meeting the needs of a diverse population of low-income, high-needs, and at-risk Asian Pacific, Latinx, and African American youth.
