WATERVILLE – The Alfond Youth and Community Center organized its first Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 31 in the parking lot of its North Street facilities.

Thirteen trunks lined the centre’s rear parking lot, serving more than 1,500 trick or treaters over the two-hour event. These trunks were managed by community members, AYCC staff and students from Waterville High School.

The AYCC also hosted a “treat tour,” where families were guided around the building for treats and program passes.

This event saw a significantly higher turnout than initially expected – AYCC staff ran several runs to ensure that all the young people in the line, which stretched out across North Street, could participate.
